Recently, The Walt Disney Company held its 2019 Shareholders meeting in St. Louis, Missouri. During this meeting, CEO Bob Iger made several comments about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World parks. He also gave encouraging information about the new Disney+ streaming service.

A Voice For Generations
Hello, and welcome back to my thoughts and musings. Today I direct appreciation towards a future Disney Legend, Jim Cummings.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio on November 3, 1952, James Jonah Cummings accepted his first Disney role in in 1983. Another Disney Legend, Sterling Halloway, had fallen seriously ill, and voice actor Jim Cummings was selected to replace Halloway as the title role in Winnie the Pooh and the Day For Eeyore. (more…)
Thank you, Netflix
Not a long posting this time around, but I wanted to take a moment to appreciate Netflix for its steaming of several volumes of the Disney Silly Symphonies along some of the obscure, lesser known/released Disney titles such as Great Mouse Detective and The Reluctant Dragon.

Created by Walt Disney Television Productions, Chip ‘n Dale’s Rescue Rangers debuted on The Disney Channel on August 27, 1988. After the one time airing of “Catteries Not Included” the show was green-lit for a series premiere.
On March 4, 1989 Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers made its weekday debut, also on the Disney Channel. (more…)
